Our highest-downforce and lowest-drag wing, the Raptor is ideal even for more modestly-powered cars. It generates useful downforce at zero degrees (at which point its drag is less than most cars' side mirrors) yet can be tilted up for real power on cars that can support it.

Built entirely from custom-specified pre-preg carbon fiber, the Raptor is cured in an autoclave under both heat and pressure while vacuum-sealed inside mirror-polished billet aluminum molds.

Of all the methods that can be used to build carbon fiber parts, this is the one that produces the best finished product. The result is parts that are stronger, lighter, and have a beautiful glossy surface.

Raptors are custom manufactured to your exact requirements and are available in any width up to a whopping 78 inches, large enough for even the widest Viper or Lamborghini. Working in partnership with the industy's top carbon fiber specialist—the same shop that builds NASCAR's and Grand Am's wings—the Raptor is built to the absolute highest professional standards and easily able to withstand speeds in excess of 200 mph.

Inside, the Raptor is reinforced with a carbon fiber "sine wave" of strengthening ribs extending across the full width of the wing.

This simple shape allows the skin to remain very thin (which is very light) and yet makes it strong enough to handle extraordinary speeds and the significant stresses they produce.

Total weight of the wing (minus the mounting points and carbon fiber end plates) is about 5 lbs. To put that into perspective, it is almost exactly the same weight as four 12 oz bottles of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (or the 12oz beverage of your choice). Amazingly light for such a large wing.

TIG-welded mounting points and carbon fiber end plates (made to the same high standards as the wing) are included in the price, as is an internal Gurney slot (see image above) for fine-tuning your setup. A 0.5" aluminum Gurney ships with the wing. Additional carbon fiber Gurney flaps made to your specified size(s) can be ordered separately. Mounting points can be placed anywhere across the wing according to your specifications, making it easy to match them up with existing uprights, if necessary.

Although most carbon fiber parts require clear-coating for protection from UV light (adding weight), the Raptor is made with a special resin which contains tiny black pigment flakes, making this extra step unnecessary without compromising either its resistance to UV or your ability to see the beautiful carbon weave.

In all, the Raptor is the best possible, most-optimized, professional-quality wing for almost any serious racing car.

The swan-neck GOODAero Raptor, our newest wing

We are very proud to announce that the Raptor, our largest Click for more details and additional photos of the GOODAero Raptor and most powerful wing, is now available in top-mount configuration for "swan-neck" uprights—whether placed in front of or behind the wing element.

Attaching the wing to its supports from the top frees the bottom of the wing from any obstructions, increasing its downforce. The top-mount Raptor maintains all the high-lift/low drag characteristics of the conventionally-mounted Raptor (see above), including the built-in Gurney slot and unparalleled carbon fiber construction.

Included, carbon fiber end plates, mounting hardware, and one 1/2" aluminum Gurney flap.

Corvette C5/C6


Click for a larger version and additional details.Finished in satin black powdercoat and manufactured from TIG-welded 6061 aluminum, the Corvette upright system attaches to the rear bumper with just four bolts per side for a rock-solid mount.

The C5/C6 uprights position the wing slightly above roof height for the cleanest possible air. Wings will extend behind the rear bumper for optimal rear downforce.

Requires two small slots cut into the upper bumper cover surface. Optimized for the new GOODAero Raptor wing in a 72" width.

BMW (and some others)


Click for a larger version and additional details.The GOODAero uprights system for BMW is manufactured from TIG-welded 6061 aluminum and powdercoated in a satin black color. The uprights attach to the rear decklid with just four bolts per side for a rock-solid mount. Works on all BMWs (and other cars with enough trunk surface area to mount them).

The BMW uprights position the wing slightly above roof height and relatively far rearward for optimal rear downforce. If you're upgrading from a Brooks or Bimmerworld wing, you'll find that the increased downforce is significant (and may require some adjustments at the nose to balance it out).

Ford Mustang (and some others)


Click for a larger version and additional details.Finished in satin black powdercoat and manufactured from TIG-welded 6061 aluminum, the Mustang upright system attaches to the rear decklid with just four bolts per side for a rock-solid mount. Works on all recent Mustangs, including the 2015.

The Mustang uprights position the wing at roof height and far enough forward to meeting the NASA American Iron limit of 1.5" behind the rear bumper for optimal (allowable) rear downforce. If you're upgrading from the G-Stream wing, our uprights bolt onto the same holes.

Porsche 924/944/951


Click for a larger version and additional details.Ideal for all models of Porsche 944, 924, and 951, the 944 uprights system (shown at right) allows interchangeabity between risers for PCA and NASA configurations.

The PCA configuration (shown here) keeps the wing below the roofline and within 1" of the rear bumper (even if you have the dainty little Euro bumpers). This is legal for both PCA's SP3 class, and the 944 Cup series' SuperCup class. The NASA configuration positions the wing both higher and further rearward for increased downforce. NOTE: Despite the name, the NASA configuration is legal for some PCA classes.

Both configurations share a common lower, which provides the actual attachment to the vehicle. The upper risers are available separately and easily switched. Uprights can be purchased for one configuration or both, and both configurations can be rocked backward to provide access to the rear hatch.

The parts are laser-cut from 1/4" 6061 aluminum, TIG welded, and powder-coated to a satin black finish.

The 944 system attaches to the rear panel of the vehicle with just four bolts per upright (8 in total) for a very easy and very clean install. Once in place, the GOODAero 944 upright system looks like it came from the factory and is very solid, very attractive, and suffers none of the side-to-side waggling seen in some competitors' systems.

Ideal with the GOODAero Raptor wing, these uprights position the wing slightly above roof height for the cleanest-possible air, but could be cut for lower positioning, if desired. With the top of the upright positioned over the rear bumper, wings on these uprights will typically extend behind the rear bumper of the car, maximizing downforce. Optimized for the Raptor in a 65" width.

The 944 uprights can be removed in minutes for moving to non-winged classes in PCA or other sanctioning bodies.

Porsche 968

Attaching to the rear bumperette mounting points and beneath the lip of the rear window glass, these powder-coated 6061 aluminum pieces are extremely low impact in terms of damage to the car and can be easily removed for PCA or other events for which they may not be legal (stock classes, for instance). Only available on a custom-order basis.

Honda S2000


Click for a larger version and additional details.The GOODAero Honda S2000 upright system was designed to work with the factory CR trunk lid and bolts directly into place in just minutes.

Constructed, like all our uprights, of laser-cut 6061 aluminum, these satin-black powder-coated pieces look like they came from Honda (but didn't).

The S2000 uprights position the wing slightly above roof height for the best possible airflow to the lifting surfaces.

GOODAero splitter systems

Adding a wing to the rear of your car is worthless unless you balance it out with a splitter in the front. The problem is, the most effective splitters are both big and low which makes them a complete pain when it comes to getting the car into and out of the trailer and onto and off of the dyno.

At least, until now.

The GOODAero splitter is the best system we have found for Porsche 924, 944, 968, 911 and, probably your car, too. Firmly attached to the car, the splitter is also removable in less than one minute without tools. It is slick, easy to install, and well worth the cost.
